STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is an approach to learning where young children begin to develop problem-solving skills through hands-on activities, using thoughtfully chosen materials as provocations. In this workshop we will explore a variety of activities that will build your confidence to create a hands-on STEM learning space.

Wendy is an educator with experience working with children in a variety of cool settings including a museum, science centre, botanical garden and park. With extensive experience in program development and building kits of materials, Wendy’s passion is helping busy educators by sharing her learnings and ideas through fun, hands-on workshops. She has a Master of Museum Education degree, a B.Ed. in K-3 education and an Early Years diploma, with experience and training from both Canada and England.
