Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our 4-year-old class. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Responsibilities

Develop and implement play-based programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
Lead activities by preparing seasonal or theme-based crafts, telling or reading stories, teaching songs, introducing basic science and cooking concepts.
Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, exploration and physical activity.
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating and toilet habits.
Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians.
Knowledge of licensing regulations.
Establish guidelines for appropriate, kind behaviour.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with current 3’s class teacher, parents and community service providers who may be working with children.
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children and parents.

Observe the overall situation with children and communicate information to parents or caregivers.
