Statement of Parental Responsibility for the Child Care Resource and Referral Program
Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) centres develop and maintain a child care referral list for their service area.
It is important to note that the child care referral list is not a recommendation or guarantee of the quality of care provided, but is intended as a resource for families when searching for child care.
Parent(s)/guardian(s) have final responsibility to ensure child care arrangements meet the specific needs of their family.
Terms of Use
- Accessing services through a CCRR is voluntary; and
- Families accessing services through a CCRR expressly agree:
- To assume any and all risks involved in the selection of the child care arrangement.
- The CCRR staff and the Board of Directors are not responsible for the choice of child care.
- Staff and the Board of Directors of the CCRR are excluded from any and all liability for negligence arising in connection with the referral services provided, and/or the actions of any Child Care Provider selected by the parent/guardian.
Note:
Referrals are NOT recommendations. Parents and/or Guardians are responsible for choosing a child care provider as well as confirming a chosen provider’s liability insurance.
